Safes

Safes are a great place to store important documents. It doesn't have to be anything huge, just something that is water and fire proof. We have this one from Target ($44.99).























In it I store: birth certificates, our marriage certificate, social security cards, immunization records, and photo cds. Basically, any documents that we HAVE to have and would be a hassle to replace Side note: I back up our photos on cds. If something happened to our house and all of our photo albums were destroyed, I would be devastated. Photos are precious!! So I back them up and store the cds in the safe.

Chances are great that your house won't be destroyed by a fire or a flood, but, I promise, you will never regret being prepared.
